1. Data Controller
Albarosa ApS is the data controller for personal data processed through the Albarosa Print service and website (albarosa.net/). "Albarosa Print" is a trade name of Albarosa ApS.

2. What We Collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Contact details you submit through our quote form, by email, by phone, or via our chat widget: name, business name, email address, phone number, and the details of your enquiry (what you want printed, quantities, deadlines, delivery address).
- Files you send us for design work: logos, images, and existing artwork.
2.2 Technical data
- Standard server log data handled by our hosting provider (Cloudflare): IP address, browser type, pages visited, and time of visit. We use it for security and to keep the site working, not to profile you.
3. Why We Process Your Data (Legal Basis)
We process personal data under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- To answer enquiries and prepare quotes — necessary before entering a contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To deliver design and print management services — performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To send SMS updates about your job — only with your consent, given when you tick the SMS box on our form or ask us to text you (Art. 6(1)(a)). See section 4.
- To keep records required by Danish bookkeeping law — legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)).
- Security logging — our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f)).
4. Phone Numbers and SMS Consent
This section covers how we handle mobile phone numbers and text messaging. It applies alongside our SMS Terms.
- We only text you if you ask us to. Consent is given when you tick the SMS box on our quote form or explicitly ask us (by email, phone, or chat) to communicate by text.
- What we text about: your quote, proofs, production status and delivery of your print job. Typically 2–6 messages per job, sent during office hours.
- We do not sell or share your phone number with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Full stop.
- Opting out: reply STOP to any message from us and we will stop texting you immediately and suppress your number. There is no delay and no further marketing after opt-out.
- Getting help: reply HELP to any message, or email [email protected].
- Consent records: we keep a record of when and how consent was given (form submission timestamp), so we can honour and prove it. When you opt out, the suppression itself is kept so we don't text you again.
- Message and data rates may apply, depending on your carrier plan.
SMS delivery is processed through our messaging platform provider (LeadConnector / GoHighLevel and its carrier partners), who act as processors delivering messages on our instruction.
5. Chat Widget
The chat widget on this site is operated by LeadConnector (GoHighLevel). Messages you send through it, and any contact details you share in the conversation, are stored by that provider on our behalf so we can reply to you. Their own privacy notice applies to their processing. Don't put anything in chat you wouldn't put in an email.
The chat widget loads on every page of this site so you can reach a person without hunting for a contact form. It is the only thing on this site that sets cookies, and those cookies do one job: keeping your conversation attached to you as you move between pages. There is no advertising, analytics or tracking cookie anywhere on this site, and nothing is shared with an ad network.
A notice explaining this appears on your first visit. Dismissing it stores a single flag in your browser's local storage so we don't show it again — that flag contains nothing personal. You can bring the notice back at any time via the "Cookies" link in the footer. If you would rather not have the chat cookies at all, block them in your browser settings or use private browsing; the rest of the site works normally without them, and you can always reach us by email or phone.
6. Who We Share Data With
- Printers and installers: to produce and deliver your order we share what the job requires — artwork, quantities, and the delivery address/name. They receive only this and act as independent controllers for their part.
- Service providers (processors): hosting (Cloudflare), CRM and messaging (LeadConnector / GoHighLevel), and accounting tools where legally required. All are bound by data processing agreements.
- Authorities: only where Danish law requires it.
- We never sell personal data to anyone.
7. How Long We Keep Data
- Quote enquiries that don't become jobs: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Client project files and correspondence: for the duration of the customer relationship plus the Danish bookkeeping retention period (5 years) where applicable.
- SMS consent records: while your number is active with us, plus the opt-out record indefinitely (so we don't contact you again).
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
You have the right to request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent — including SMS consent — you may withdraw it at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
To exercise any right, email [email protected]. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk).
9. US and California Residents
We are a Danish company with clients in the United States, primarily California. If you are a US resident, the following applies to you in addition to the sections above.
- We do not sell or share your personal information. We have never sold personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). This includes your mobile phone number and your SMS consent, which are used only to message you about your own job.
- Mobile opt-in data is never transferred to third parties for marketing. Your number and consent record are shared only with the messaging platform and carriers that deliver the message on our instruction, and with no one else for any purpose of their own.
- California rights. California residents may request to know what personal information we hold, request deletion or correction of it, and request the categories of third parties it has been disclosed to. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
- Text messaging law. We send commercial and transactional texts only to recipients who have given prior express consent, only between 8am and 9pm in the recipient's local time zone, and we honour STOP requests immediately, consistent with the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and carrier requirements.
- Where your data is held. Because we are based in Denmark, personal data of US clients is processed in the European Union under GDPR, which grants protections at least equivalent to those described here.
To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We respond within 45 days as required under CCPA.
10. Changes
If we change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date. Material changes affecting how we use your phone number will be communicated directly before they take effect.
